Refund policy

This policy applies to orders placed on by customers in France and the United States. Where a provision is marked as applying specifically to French consumers, it reflects mandatory rights under the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation).

Section A — Voluntary Return Policy (30 days)

We accept returns of eligible items within 30 calendar days of delivery. The 30-day period begins on the date the carrier’s tracking shows the item was delivered to you.

To start a return, email info@ullavella.com with your order number and a short note about what you would like to return. We will reply with return instructions. Please do not ship anything back before receiving those instructions.

Condition of returned items. Items returned under this voluntary policy must be unused, with original packaging and tags intact. Items that show signs of wear, washing, alteration, or missing components may be refused or subject to a reduced refund.

Return shipping cost under this voluntary policy. We cover the cost of return shipping for returns made under this 30-day voluntary policy. There is no restocking fee.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items. If the item arrived damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, the “unused” condition requirement does not apply. Email info@ullavella.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item and its packaging. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping cost.

Refund timing. Once the returned item reaches our return address and passes inspection, we process the refund within 1–2 business days. Your bank or card issuer then typically takes up to 8 business days to post the credit. Please allow up to 10 business days in total from the day we receive your return for the refund to appear on your original payment method.

Section B — Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Consumers in France (14 days)

If you are a consumer residing in France, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from the day you, or a third party other than the carrier designated by you, physically take possession of the goods. This is your droit de rétractation under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision before the 14-day period expires. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory. You can notify us by email at info@ullavella.com or by post to the address above. You may also use the online withdrawal function on our website if available.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard outbound delivery, no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, and you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

Return shipping cost under the statutory right of withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods under the 14-day statutory withdrawal right, unless the goods are defective or not as described. This is separate from Section A above, where we cover return shipping for voluntary 30-day returns.

Exclusions

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, sealed goods unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, or goods that have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
